I'm pretty sure this isn't some kind of mod error, because I don't have anything that edits ground textures, and I don't think its an issue with LOD, since i went into Fallout.ini and quadrupled all the major LOD values, and while that made everything ELSE load full detail at long distance, the dirt still won't load. If I stand still waiting to see if the ground ever loads in, it never will, but if I step forward about 20-30 feet into the low-res areas they'll instantly load the full resolution textures. Hey all, I just started replaying Fallout New Vegas, this time with an absolute smorgasbord of mods installed to liven up the experience, but I've been experiencing a glitch with the outside ground/dirt textures I can't really figure out.Įvery 200 feet or so while outside, the ground will only have its "far away", unbearably low-resolution textures loaded, while everything else nearby (rocks, roads, rail lines, trees, anything but the dirt really) will all be fully loaded with no issue.
